A 55-year-old man was robbed while walking home from the grocery store on the night of October 8.
The victim said he was walking along Freeman Street, when a white BMW approached him, stopped, and two men got out.
They approached the victim and began beating him up.
Then they reached into his pocked and removed his cell phone, camera, and glasses. They got back into the car and fled.
The victim was admitted to the hospital the following day and displayed visible injuries on his face when he came in to the precinct.
Two brothers got into a fight in their Green Street apartment on the night of October 10.
The younger said the older punched him in the left eye and attempted to throw a plate at him.
The older brother then struck his sibling with a closed fist about the face, eye, and mouth causing redness, swelling, and bruising.
According to the victim, his older brother had been screaming violently earlier in the day and was walking around the apartment destroying things including breaking the victim’s bed.
Northside Piers Heist
A 24-year-old man was robbed after he fell asleep along the Williamsburg waterfront on the night of October.
The victim passed out on a bench along the Northside Piers located at 184 Kent Avenue just after 2:00 a.m.
He was awakened by a man trying to reach into his rear pocket.
The unknown man grabbed his wallet, but not before uttering, “You can’t sleep here,” and fled the scene.
