Three men assaulted a 22-year-old woman on the night of August 31 at the intersection of Driggs and Morgan Avenues for refusing to give them money.
The three assailants approached the woman as she was making her way home from the subway.
When they asked for her money, she declined.
One of the perps then pulled the victim to the ground by her hair while another took her cell phone out of her hand.
The perps then fled on foot.
The victim sustained minor scrapes on her knee. One of three perps was apprehended September 4.
A 25-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed on the night of August 31 at the intersection of Driggs and Kingsland Avenues
Two unknown persons approached her as she was making her way home from the nearby McDonalds.
One punched her in the right shoulder, while the other in the left, and grabbed her bag.
Both perps then fled on foot.
A 28-year-old man was beaten outside of a bar at the intersection of Greenpoint Avenue and Franklin Street in the early hours of September.
The victim got into an argument with another man just after exiting the bar around 3 a.m.
The perp then placed the victim in a chokehold.
The victim temporarily lost consciousness and when he came to he was laying on the ground.
He sustained a cut to his right ankle, and had scratch marks on his left shoulder.
The perp had also made off with the victim’s phone.
Robbed on Bench
A 36-year-old man was robbed while sitting on a Manhattan Avenue bench in the early hours of September 6.
An unknown man approached the victim and displayed a black firearm.
The perp demanded everything the victim had, and the latter handed him his phone, Metrocard, and cash.
The perp then fled into the Graham Avenue L Train station.
A 26-year-old man was robbed just minutes after getting into a car accident on the night of August 31 at the intersection of Vandervoort and Meeker Avenues.
Just after crashing into the car, the victim stepped out as did the man in the other car. The victim was in the process of calling 911, when the man from the other car, snatched the phone out of the victim’s hand and fled.
He also grabbed the victim’s license plates that had come loose as a result of the accident.
