28-year-old Bushwick Resident Robbed at Knifepoint and other crimes from the 90th Precinct

A 28-year-old man was robbed at knifepoint on September 3 at the corner of Walton Street and Broadway.

An unknown man approached the victim and entered his vehicle. He held out a knife demanded the victim hand him some cash.

The victim complied and the perp fled on a bicycle.

The victim gave chase in his car for a few blocks, but lost sight of the suspect.

The perp made off with $1,175 in cash.

 

Cheating

A 29-year-old woman was struck in the face after she confronted her partner about cheating on her with another woman.

The crime occurred on the night of September 3, at a building located at the intersection of Driggs Avenue and Broadway.

The perp slammed her body and strangled her before punching her in the face, which left her with a bloody nose.

The perp then took her phone and fled.

 

Roommate Assailant

 An 18-year-old girl was assaulted by her roommate’s acquaintance in the early hours of September 3 inside of her South 3rd Street apartment.

The perp began arguing with her, and then became aggressive and broke one of the bedroom doors in the apartment. He then began striking the victim with a closed fist.

The perp then took the victim’s phone, after which the victim tried to flee her apartment.

But the perp followed her and pushed her to the ground before he exited the building.

The victim has obtained a restraining order against the suspect.

 

MacBook Air

A 29-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint on the morning of September 3rd at the northeast corner of Grattan Street and Porter.

An unknown man approached the victim as the latter was making his way to work and displayed a black firearm.

The perp demanded the victim hand over this bag. The victim complied and the perp fled in a blue vehicle, taking the victim’s MacBook Air along with him.

 

Ingraham Robbery

A 26-year-old man was robbed while waiting in front of a building on Ingraham Street in the early hours of September 2.

An unknown man approached the victim and said, “Can I use your phone?”

The victim declined.

The perp then said, “What if I just took it from you?” and pulled out a black firearm.

He then grabbed the victim’s cell phone and $120 in cash, and fled.

 

Saved by the Elevator

A 29-year-old woman was robbed in the early hours of September 1 while making her way home along Ross Street.

An unknown man approached her from behind and poked her with what appeared to be a knife.

He asked her not to scream and threatened to stab her if she did.

He then escorted her into a building on Ross Street, took her to the elevator, and pushed the button for the 13th floor.

However a scuffle ensued between the victim and the perp during the elevator ride, and she was able to stop the elevator on the 11th floor.

Just as she was bolting out the door, the man grabbed her purse, which contained her phone and $200 in cash, and managed to flee the building.
