There were spooks and thrills aplenty for the kiddy crew at Nassau Avenue’s ABC Child Center.
On Halloween, teachers at the preschool took their students – ages three to five years old – trick-or-treating all along the shops and residences located on Manhattan Avenue.
The preschoolers even managed to make a stop at the 94th precinct, arresting the officers with their holiday spirit and making a quick getaway with the candy.
The Child Center has been in the neighborhood for over 20 years. Established in 1993, it has continued to serve as place where children up to five years old can partake in a series of activities including arts and crafts, early mathematics and geometry, and monthly classes in yoga, music, and dance.
And if that wasn’t enough to keep the neighborhood kids entertainment, the program even wants to instill its students with some neighborhood spirit. Weather permitting, students are taken on daily jaunts through the neighborhood to get better acquainted and explore the neighborhood.
