A 24-year-old man was heading to meet a friend on March 7 around 4 a.m. on Frost Street between Kingsland and Morgan Avenues when he was attacked by an unknown perpetrator, according to police.
The victim told police that the perpetrator stabbed him in the lower left part of his stomach.
The perpetrator then fled in an unknown direction, but did not steal any property from the victim.
The victim was taken to Elmhurst hospital shortly afterward, according to police.
Japanese Man Stranded in Williamsburg
A Japanese man was left stranded in Williamsburg on March 4 around 11:30 p.m. when his bag was stolen by an unknown perpetrator, according to police.
The victim, who was in town working as a Japanese language interpreter, was walking along the intersection of North 7th Street and Meeker Avenue when the perpetrator grabbed his book bag and ran in the opposite direction.
The bag contained a phone, which had a number registered in Japan, among other positions. As a result the police were unable to trace the phone.
The victim was scheduled to return to Japan on March 6, according to police.
Woman Robbed of Close to $2,000 Worth of Goods
A 34-year-old woman received a rude shock on March 5 around 5 p.m. when she returned to her car after work and found various personal items missing, according to police.
The woman had parked her car on North 4th Street and Wythe Avenue and left a bag in the trunk, which contained credit cards, a watch, jewelry, her wallet and keys. When she returned to the car after work, she discovered the trunk to be unlocked and her possessions missing, according to police.
