Police Blotters (10/24/11 – 10/30/11) – 90th Precinct

ROBBERY

10/24
Havemeyer Street
Perp approached a bank teller and displayed a note demanding 100, 50, 20 and 10-dollar bills. When the teller informed the perp to wait so that she could get someone to help him, he began shout, “No! Now! Now!” and placed a device with blinking lights on the counter. The teller then gave the perp an unknown amount of singles, which he shoved into his jacket pocket. No arrests have been made.

Grand Street
Perp approached victim from behind and put him in a choke hold, causing the latter to lose consciousness. Upon waking up, the victim realized his cell phone, wallet and debit card were missing. No arrests have been made.

Moore Street and Graham Avenue
Perp approached victim and showed him a knife, saying “Give me everything or I’ll jump you.” The perp then took his cell phone and fled on Moore Street. No arrests have been made.

S. 8th Street
A group of perps attacked victim with knives, stabbing him in the back and removing his iPod. No arrests have been made.

10/26
S. 6th Street
Perp grabbed victim from behind and put him in a choke hold, demanding his cell phone and wallet. He then pushed the victim to the ground, removed his property and fled.
No arrests have been made.

10/29
S. 10th Street
Two perps approached victim from behind, throwing him to the ground. After forcibly removing his camera and $200 in cash, they both fled in an unknown direction. No arrests have been made.

ASSAULT

10/24
Debevoise Street and Humboldt Street
Victim was driving his car when he saw perp. When he got out of his car to talk to the perp, the latter pulled out a knife. Along with three others, the perp attacked the victim. At some point, the victim was stabbed under the right arm, and all four perps fled. The victim then drove to Woodhull Hospital. No arrests have been made.

Walton Street
Perp punched victim in the eye, causing a laceration. No arrests have been made.

Moore Street
Two perps hit victim in the face with an unknown object. No arrests have been made.

Bushwick Avenue
Victim and perp began a verbal dispute. At some point, the perp smashed a sugar bowl on the left side of the victim’s face, causing a laceration 10 inches long. The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital, and the perp was later arrested.

Manhattan Avenue
Perp shot one round into victim’s right thigh and fled in an unknown direction. The victim was then removed to Bellevue Hospital. No arrests have been made.

10/29
Cook Street
Two perps in ski masks hit victim on the head with an unknown object, causing a large laceration requiring stitches. No arrests have been made.

10/30
Bushwick Avenue
Perp began to argue with victim. At some point, the altercation became physical and the perp hit the victim in the mouth with a cell phone, causing lacerations. The perp was later arrested.

BURGLARY

10/24
Moore Street
Perp entered victim’s apartment through a window and stole her iPod. No arrests have been made.

Graham Avenue
10/25
Perp broke into victim’s apartment and stole credit cards, a camera, a cell phone, a driver’s license and $150. No arrests have been made.

10/26
S. 9th Street
Victim locked his room and left for work. Upon returning, she found her room still locked, but four watches missing. No arrests have been made.

10/27
S. 5th Street and Driggs Avenue
Perp broke into a vehicle and stole 80 cases of Red Bull and 200 cases of cookies. No arrests have been made.

10/28
Broadway
Perp broke into victim’s room and stole a laptop. No arrests have been made.
10/29
S. 9th Street
Perp stole 2 cameras, a power cord and a sleeping bag from victim’s apartment. No arrests have been made.

10/30
Wallabout Street
Perp broke into victim’s car and stole a blue jacket. He was later arrested.

GRAND LARCENY

10/24
Gerry Street and Flushing Avenue
Perp broke into victim’s vehicle and stole a purse, driver’s license and credit card. No arrests have been made.

N. 1st Street
Perp stole power tools and and a wallet from victim’s car. No arrests have been made.

10/25
Perp broke into victim’s car and stole a wool coat and some religious art. No arrests have been made.

S. 6th Street
Perp broke into victim’s car and stole a watch, a toy, a GPS, clothes, wine bottles, shoes and earrings. No arrests have been made.

Lorimer Street and Broadway
Perp snatched victim’s cell phone and fled down Lorimer Street. No arrests have been made.

Bedford Avenue
Perp removed victim’s purse and cell phone from her baby stroller in a doctor’s waiting room. No arrests have been made.

Devoe Street
Perp stole a mountain bike from a parking lot. No arrests have been made.

Grand Street and Manhattan Avenue
After getting out of a taxi, victim discovered his wallet and phone holder missing. No arrests have been made.

Porter Avenue
Perp stole a Blackberry from a desk. No arrests have been made.

S. 2nd Street
Perp removed victim’s wedding band and earrings from a jewelry box on her drawer. No arrests have been made.

Broadway
Perp broke into victim’s car and stole $3389 worth of film equipment. No arrests have been made.

Heyward Street
Perp put his hand into victim’s pocket and removed $5. He was later arrested.

Graham Avenue
Perp removed victim’s pocketbook from behind the counter of a store. No arrests have been made.

10/29
Havemeyer Street
Perp broke into victim’s 2011 Mercedes Benz and stole a laptop and some keys. No arrests have been made.

Ten Eyck Walk
Perp used victim’s card to withdraw $3,984 without permission to do so. No arrests have been made.

Meserole Street
Perp broke into victim’s 2008 Toyota and stole a Peruvian hat, a wallet, a CD and $100. No arrests have been made.

Varet Street and Graham Avenue
Perp approached victim from behind, grabbed her black canvas bag and fled on Varet Street. No arrests have been made.

N. 1st Street
Perp stole victim’s debit card and made $8,029 in purchases. No arrests have been made.

Driggs Avenue
Perp removed security equipment from a basement and fled in an unknown location. No arrests have been made.

Wythe Avenue and Ross Street
Perp attempted to snatch victim’s purse, but the latter resisted and the perp fled into a house. No arrests have been made.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO

10/25
Thames Street and Bogart Street
Victim parked his delivery truck and left his keys in a cup on the dashboard of his vehicle. When he came back, his truck was missing. No arrests have been made.

10/27
Ross Street
Victim parked his 2010 Lexus on Ross Street. When he came back, his car was gone. No arrests have been made.
