Police Blotters (Sept. 7-Sept. 14)

ROBBERY:

9/10
Bedford Avenue and N. 7th Street
Victim was walking down the stairs in the Bedford L station when he was approached by a perp, who asked, “what’s that?” before picking the victim’s pockets. The victim told the perp to “chill,” after which a second perp lifted his shirt to display a firearm and said, “You don’t want to get shot over nothing little.” The second perp then proceeded to remove the victim’s wallet from his back pocket. The first perp then grabbed the victim’s neck, and forced him to the ground before snatching his sidekick. Both perps then fled in an unknown direction, and no arrests have been made.

N. 10th Street and Wythe Avenue
Victim was walking down the street when three perps approached and displayed a black handgun. They then told the victim to hand over her purse, and one perp struck her in the head three times with his gun. The perps then fled in an unknown direction, and no arrests have been made.

ASSAULT:

Manhattan Avenue
Victim was attempting to write a summons on the defendant’s vehicle when the perp attempted to drive away. He was apprehended on the scene.

BURGLARY:

9/8
Bedford Avenue
Victim left her apartment, and upon return noticed her laptop, camera and DVD player was missing. No arrests have been made.

Diamond Street
Victim states that unknown perps entered her living room through an open window and stole her laptop computer. No arrests have been made.

9/10
Eckford Street
Victim left her apartment and upon return, discovered that her front door had been damaged and the bedrooms were ransacked, but no items were taken. No arrests have been made.

Eckford Street
Victim left her apartment, and when she returned a few hours later noticed that the door to her apartment was kicked in. Her drawers were emptied out, and jewelry and cash was missing. No arrests have been made.

Eckford Street
The perp forced the apartment door open and stole jewelry, a watch and an unknown amount of cash. Victim was sleeping in another room, and when she tried to open the door, she discovered that it was locked from the outside. Finally, the door was opened. No arrests have been made.

Conselyea Street
Victim states that the defendant entered his apartment through the front door window by slicing away the window screen. When the victim looked up, he saw the perp standing in front of him. He was apprehended.

GRAND LARCENY:

9/7
Havemeyer Street
Victim parked her vehicle on Havemeyer Street, and upon returning she noticed her driver’s side window had been smashed. No arrests have been made.

9/8
N. 5th Street
Victim received a statement from a collection agency owing $9,917.14 to a financial services agency as a result of a bank card issued by a bank. Victim does not have or ever has had an account with this bank. Victim’s name, address and information were used without his permission. No arrests have been made.

Lorimer Street
A perp followed the victim for about three blocks when defendant stole a sidekick from the victim’s back pocket. No arrests have been made.

Wythe Avenue
Victim barked his vehicle on Wythe Avenue, and upon return noticed that his driver’s side window was smashed and his credit cards, debit cards, DVD player, GPS and iPod were missing. No arrests have been made.

9/10
N. 7th Street
Unknown perps broke into the passenger side window of the victim’s car and stole her credit cards, GPS and cash. No arrests have been made.

9/11
Kent Avenue and N. 8th Street
Victim was walking to a bar when a man in his mid-40s walked past her, then immediately doubled back and grabbed her purse before fleeing down Kent Avenue. No arrests have been made.

9/11
Union Avenue and Meeker Avenue
Victim parked his car under the BQE and upon return discovered his passenger-side window smashed, and his camera and camera lens missing. No arrests have been made.

9/12
Manhattan Avenue
Victim states that perp gained access to her pay pal line of credit account through a bank, and stole $856 without permission. No arrests have been made.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO:

9/12
Jackson Street
Victim states that she parked her car and went to New Jersey with her family. When she returned, her car was missing. It was not towed. No arrests have been made.
